This is my fave can opener and I’ve had it for over a year, but now it’s starting to stick—meaning it gets locked onto the can and I have to fidget with it till it loosens and THEN I can remove it from the can. Frustrating! I’m guessing this means it’s time to apply OIL as suggested by the stamped text on the bottom of the opener but it’s not clear how and exactly to what you’re applying the oil (and what kind of oil to apply). Detailed instructions (or a video) on how to do this basic maintenance are NO WHERE to be found—no info came with the product AND I’ve scoured the internet. I’ll change my review to 5* when I get my hands on this very important information. Thanks! ☺️
