The Nogent Paring Knife 3.5″ (9 cm) is more than a kitchen tool—it’s a legacy of French craftsmanship, passed down and perfected since the early 20th century. Forged in the historic Champagne region, every knife embodies the artisanal spirit of Nogent: purposeful, precise, and quietly exceptional.
Its ultralight build and meticulous balance make it feel like a natural extension of your hand, offering fatigue-free control for detailed prep work—think garlic, shallots, herbs, and citrus. The finely honed stainless steel blade slices with confidence and grace, preserving texture and flavor with every cut.
Crafted with sustainably sourced, PEFC-certified local wood, each handle tells a story of care—for both tradition and the future. Zero water pollution, 100% recycled wood waste, and small-batch production make every knife a conscious choice.
With soul you can feel in every slice, this is the knife that earns its place in your hand—and never leaves.

These are marvelous knives at a very attractive price! I had initially purchased one to try it out and it proved to be more useful thank I had anticipated. I had been hesitant at first because it’s about 1/2″ longer than an average paring knife, but this turned out to be an advantage, I frequently use it for chopping smaller vegetables instead of reaching for a santoku. Marvelously sharp and very easy to re-sharpen. I purchased three more because I like them so much!

This paring knife far exceeds my expectations for the price. I’ll be getting more for myself and as gifts.
